First Post

I am very excited to leave for Spain in a few days.  This will be the first time I have been away from my family and friends for this long. I am going to miss my friends and my family as well as my cat and dogs. I think that living with a host family will be a once in a lifetime experience and I am very excited to immerse myself in Spanish culture.  I have never been to Europe so I have no idea what to expect in Spain.  I have traveled to Spanish speaking countries in Central and South America but I have a feeling that Spain is going to be much different from the countries I have already visited.  I can't wait to leave and I am excited to get to know some new people during this experience.
